Barns Green is 5 miles south-west of Horsham and 3 miles north of Billingshurst. For detailed instructions on how to get to the venue, click here. From London, Dorking, Crawley or Horsham, proceed to either Itchingfield or Christ's Hospital. Follow signposts to Barns Green. From Worthing or Brighton, proceed to Coolham either along A272 or from Storrington, then north to Barns Green. From the west- Southampton, Guildford or Winchester - head for the A29 and turn off at the signpost to Barns Green, half a mile north of Billingshurst. |

There will be plenty of car parking available close to the race start. The parking is FREE, although there will be an opportunity to make a voluntary charitable contribution to this year's charity. |

As early as possible - that way you can relax, collect your FREE race programme, buy a commemorative T-shirt (if you have not done so already) and get changed before the last minute panic takes hold! However, you MUST arrive by 10.15am |
| Q.8. | Are there any roads closed on the morning of the race? |

Yes, as in previous years, we have applied to Horsham District Council for a Road Closure Order. If granted, emergency vehicles will still retain continuous access to the route. Therefore, for your own safety, please beware of vehicles on the road. Please note the ROAD CLOSURE WILL TAKE EFFECT FROM 10.30am. If you arrive on the course after this time, YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY. So, Play safe, Arrive Early". |
| Q.9. | Is there anywhere that I can leave my kit during the race? |

Yes. It is possible for competitors to leave their kit under supervision in the village hall. Kit should be marked clearly with your race number as collection of kit at the end of the race will require a race number to be presented. Only Kit left in the bag provided on the day can be left with the organisers - any bags left unattended in the village hall are likely to be moved during the race. |

As race numbers have been sent out in advance, there is no need to register before the race, BUT ANY CHANGES SHOULD BE NOTIFIED TO THE RACE SECRETARY'S DESK AT THE VILLAGE HALL. If you have not pre-registered (and been sent a race number), you will need to register, PAY and obtain a race number at the Race Secretary's desk on the morning of the race but remember you must arrive early - no later than 10.15am. |

Under the rules of the BAF, all entrants must have attained the age of 17 years on the day of the race. THERE CAN BE NO EXCEPTION. |
| Q.13. | How much does it cost to enter the race? |

This depends on when you enter ! If you enter before the closing date (usually 3-4 weeks before the race), the fee is £16.00 affiliated, £18.00 unaffiliated. If you enter after the official closing date the fee is £20. If you enter on the day, the fee is £25.00. All Fees include a commemorative race medal and free results service. |
